Our Missions

Put your faith into action by getting involved with one of our ongoing mission projects. Grace Resurrection is committed to sharing God’s love in our community by meeting the needs of our neighbors and beyond.

Here are just a few projects you can join:

Salvation Army

MUST Ministries

MUST addresses the basic needs of individuals, families and children with facilities in the Cobb and Cherokee counties and programs in numerous other counties. MUST brings people of many faiths together to respond to God’s challenge to minister to others with compassion and love, without judgment of the beliefs, background or circumstances of those who serve or are being served.

Grace partners with MUST Ministries with their Hygiene Packing, Food Pantry and Delivery, Donation Center, Summer Lunch Program, and their Food Drive.

The Sandwich Project

GRMC is partnering with The Sandwich Project, a local non-profit organization, to make and provide fresh, homemade sandwiches to help meet the food scarcity needs in metro Atlanta. Through TSP, volunteers provide sandwiches weekly to 60+ charities dedicated to assisting individuals needing sustenance.

GRMC packs 150 sandwiches monthly to assist this organization.

Project Mail Call

The Project Mail Call mission provides a direct and personal method to contact and send customized care-packages and letters to U.S. Marines, sailors, soldiers, and ‘Coasties’ deployed overseas. At regularly scheduled, local packing sessions, volunteers pack boxes for military units based on the units’ unique needs and requests.

Particular attention is given to service personnel who are in remote locations, do not receive mail, or who provide humanitarian aid to schools, clinics, orphanages, or villages in their operating area.

Lenten Donation Challenge

This Lent, join us in a meaningful act of giving!

On Sunday, March 2, GRMC Missions will distribute trash bags and simple instructions after church for our Lenten Donation Challenge.

How it works:

•Starting March 5 (the first day of Lent), set aside one item of clothing or a pair of shoes each day that you no longer wear or need.

•Place your items in the provided bag.

•After 40 days, bring your filled bag back AFTER Easter during our designated drop-off times:

April 22-24 (10 a.m.-2 p.m.)
Sunday, April 27

All donations will go to MUST Ministries, supporting those in need in our community.

Savannah Mission Trip

March 20 - 23, 2025

Five additional slots are available to participate in GRMC's rescheduled mission trip to Savannah, GA (March 20-23). Projects will be determined about one month prior to the trip and will be based on participants' skillsets and interests. Cost is $275 per person and is payable to GRMC when registration is submitted. Registration is first come, first serve and will be available until Feb. 6 or until slots are filled (whichever comes first). Disaster Relief for NC and CA

Many people in North Carolina and California are still suffering following Hurricane Helene and fires throughout Los Angeles area, respectively. If you would like to donate financially to help these victims, you can contribute to Samaritan's Purse, a Christian and N.C.-disaster relief based organization. Link here to donate online where dollars are most needed or checks may be written and mailed directly to Samaritan's Purse, P.O. Box 3000, Boone, N.C. If you wish to designate your contribution, please write NC or CA disaster relief on your check.
